An official 40mm diameter size bocce pallino (target jack ball) with official 90 gram weight. This pallino is made of solid metal to minimize flying off of the court. It should be used in International world bocce rules play for PRV (punto, raffa, volo) events and is recommended by the USBF and Italian FIB rules for official USA national tournament play. Clubs should also consider using this pallino because it maintains the beautiful pointing strength considerations, which is historically the main talent, of the best bocce players. In other words, the pallion should never stop a poorly thrown long bocce because of it's huge size and weight, especially in PRV play where primary and secondary bumps are invalid or offer the opposing team the rule of advantage.
